I disagree 100%. First off it is straight up retarded to give the 1st round to your opponent in a 3 round fight when anything can happen in MMA. Secondly its not a common tactic, its an excuse fighters with big egos make to justify a crappy round. This isn't Ali vs Foreman; there are no 12 rounds. There is not much room for a feeling out process unless you call the first 90 seconds of a MMA fight a feeling out process.

Aldo's mental weaknesses are already showing just by how he talks in interviews lately and I don't care if everyone on here disagrees with me. Hes not top 15 P4P, he is a talented fighter with miles of road still ahead of him and he is already talking in ways that Fedor / GSP / A Silva NEVER do but have earned the right to if they so choose. I was a big Aldo fan and I still enjoy his fights but I am going to stay clear of the bandwagon before it incinerates, just like I did with Machida.
