My mistake, for some reason I forgot it was a 5 round fight so it is legitimate that he set him up for round 2 just like A Silva set up Chael in round 4 and sub'd him in round 5. If Aldo claimed this in a 3 round fight it would be BS and I stand by that even though it wasn't the case. Oops.
I don't think WEC has that deep of a field to test Aldo so I can't put him in the P4P rankings. Faber is kind of the Rich Franklin / Liddel catagory of great fighters that are getting surpassed by the new smarter / athletic fighters that are coming into MMA now that you can make some decent money and gain some notoriety.

Just because you don't like how's he's becoming cocky shouldn't take away from his achievements.

His attitude and ability have nothing to do with each other. I question his "achievements" at this point in his career. I think he has potential and we all know he is an exciting fighter in the #1 or #2 camp in MMA but I just don't think he has fought solid enough competition to have him in P4P discussion. No one knew his name a year ago and now hes top 5 P4P apparently, that should tell you something right there.
WEC weight classes are still as deep as a mud puddle and like I said, Aldo is still a kid with a lot to learn. I can see him being the next Anderson but calling that right now is just jumping the gun too early.
If you guys want to talk about Brazilian knockout artists who should be higher on P4P rankings lets talk about JDS instead.
