Great question, and duly repped for it. To be honest, I'd never seen Sprecht's stuff before you brought it to my attention.

I don't have control over what's written for our site, but I have some degree of control as to where it goes.

I agree that Sprecht's stuff is as weak and poorly written as Nates, and if it got posted in the General forum with any regularity, I'd noobjack it, as well.

One of my bachelor's degrees is in journalism. I understand that controversy attracts attention, and I understand that the owners of the site would probably want attention rather than great writing...much like I'd assume whoever owns BE feels about Nate.

My issue is dealing with trolls and clueless mopes in the main forum, and crap like this just exacerbates the general level of stupidity--already too high for my own liking--in the general forums.
