If anything Lesnar probably thought the ref would give him more of a chance to recover. Lesnar was never out of the fight let alone anywhere close to being knocked out.

Turtling up when youre on your back and not improving your position is something he needs to stop doing. Hopefully he took something from his fight with Cain because not all fighters will blow their wad and gas themselves out like Carwin.

Someone said it best when they said Cain learned from Carwins mistake and refined his approach against Lesnar.
