i have to disagree with this. i would rather see one giant organization where the best fight the best, and then some smaller promotions where fighters can work there way up from, or go back down to if they cant make it in the big show.

sure, the initial competition works for a us fans, but only cuz the the ufc co promotes.

in the entertainment industry, and even in something such as wrestling, the more organizations you have the better the quality. not so in sports. the more you have the thinner the talent pool gets. to me it is one of the most annoying things about boxing. the ufc will not have an equal unless they implode or Pride somehow rises from the ashes in japan.

i would like to see some cross over between bellator and strikeforce but i get the feeling if strikeforce is too involved with that and they did merge it would only lead more fighters from bellator leaving for the ufc
