There is a lot of buzz about Rampage and Machida fighting again on the internet. I personally scored the bout 30-29 for Lyoto, but I guess I could maybe see it going to Jackson after a rewatch. The first round was a 10-10 round with neither guy doing much. In the second Jackson scored with that takedown but did nothing with it allowing Machida to pop up and get free. I scored that round 10-10 as well. The third round was obviously Machida. 10-9 for Lyoto.

I personally don't see the need for another fight right off the bat. This is a fight where a win or a loss never really hurt or helped either guy's credibility due to the way it played out. The championship fight is locked up untill March, and both Shogun and Rashad will be on the shelf a little bit after that fight. So I think Zuffa should line up other fights. I would like to see Jackson vs Jones, vs Lil Nog, or Forrest a second time. Or Machida vs Franklin II, vs Jones, or even Bader. There are too many great fights to be made right now, but some people need a definitive winner.

What does everyone else think?
