Was a close fight that I actually enjoyed. Anyone that knows MMA knew the fight was going to be very technical, not an all out slug fest.
I still don't understand how people are giving round 1 to Machida and when you think about it, its very ironic.
The Machida vs Shogun fight there was a huge out cry of Machida fans saying leg kicks don't mean crap and kicks are nothing blah blah but when you talk about round 1 Page vs Machida they say "omfg 4 leg kicks!!!" in defense of him winning the round. Page landed the most solid shot of the round (punch to the face) and was the aggressor and had Machida pressed up against the cage for a decent part of the round. How did Machida win round 1 is beyond me.
