and fedor is, and has always been an anomoly. someone so undriven by glory and simple unparalleled in skill and fearless in all aspects of the game. i can't think of anyone i'd be less ashamed of getting triangled by than werdum, and people say fedor was exposed? he took a gamble, a gamble he's taken thousands of times, and he threw the wrong dice for the first time. that, to me, doesn't begin to diminish what a beacon he is for the sport, in terms of skill, professionalism, or example.
