he probably had a better chance of subbing miller since his bjj is awesome then would getting out on bottom with a bigger wrestler on top of him. i dont see it as cocky at all.

however, they way he came in at the weighins and even the walkout was some cocky shit he had like a separate pair of clothes over his sponsored clothes so he could rock the baggy jeans big chain shit. i didnt think it translated into his actual fighting though but thats jsut me.
I would take a look at the Gracie Breakdown I posted here - http://www.mmanews.com/forums/mma-pi...tml#post775819

He was cocky....when he saw Miller go for the toe hold he could care less and started hammerfisting the ribs, he could have easily just turned his leg out and kept turning out of it.

Call it cocky or disregard for Miller's ground game. If you can submit a guy like Duane Ludwig or you can control Mark Bocek for 2 rounds and not get in any danger, then you should respect their ground game.

Definitely a learning experience and I hope it doesn't change his ferocity and his aggressiveness.

Thinking that Miller is predominately a wrestler was wrong....one of the strongest wrestlers in the Miller family, but probably one of the best strikers of the Miller's and maybe the 3rd best Miller on the ground....behind his cousins Cole and Micah.

Jim is a great fighter and I hope he gets a shot. He is so well rounded in all aspects and he has demonstrated that he can put together a great gameplan.
