I think he was referring to his UFC career. Trust me, DF knows.
Personally I'd say GSP has faced the higher calibre of opponent. He's cleared out the division and is now doing it again. About the only other person to do this was Fedor in his Pride prime.
As far as Anderson redeeming his losses? Why would he bother? Neither of them are massively relevant fighters in today's title picture (Okami could still be with another win or two). You can't just go around ignoring who the next shot is supposed to be in order to scratch over a loss on your record.
