Fair point - if Rumble shows up in shape then the chances of him winning the fight increase dramatically. I don't recall him ever really getting dominated standing (although happy to be corrected). He's a big, strong athletic dude with a 2" height and 4" reach advantage. Chinwise, I remember him taking a couple of Josh Koscheck fastballs and not seeming too fazed by it, so I figure his his jaw isn't made of glass. He's a decent stylistic matchup for Hardy especially if he uses his wrestling (I think I remember hearing he was a JUCO National champ?)
If he can get his cardio and weight issues under control then he's a long night for any welterweight in the UFC.
