great fight, cant wait! I am tending to lean towards 'page in this one as well, but Ive gotta admit, I think silva has more then an outside chance. Thiago reminds me a lot of how wandy used to fight back in his pride days... aggressive, good use of muai thai, and one helluva killer instinct. And frankly, we all know what the pride-era wanderlei did to rampage... twice... heh.

I think if 'page can keep his distance and counter well with big punches, you'll see a frustrated thiago lose either a lopsided decision, or a quick nap and a trip to the ER. On the other hand, if silva can close the distance and clinch, or ravage 'page early on with solid leg kicks, rampage is in a lot of trouble.

Also, the only way I see this not being a #1 contenders match is if rashaad manages to beat shogun. I would say that if rashaad manages to win, given he has wins over both of these fighters recently, he should fight the winner of the bader/jones tussle. If shogun wins, I can make a case for the winner of either of the two "contenders" matches getting the next shot.
