and isnt this what happened to chael? |
I thought it was funny....but Josh isn't even suspended is he?
He got caught...never showed up in front of the commission....took a year off of fighting in the states...lost his fighting license....now has to re-apply from scratch.
The CSAC is and has tried to make an example of Barnett....not only in the past, but again more recently.
Instead of just letting him re-apply like a normal guy, they 'ambush him' as Barnett tweeted -

"I show up only to [reapply] and get ambushed by an assistant [attorney general] who has put together a case against me. Sweet," Barnett wrote on Twitter. "As if I would show up without my legal representation if I knew that was going to be the case!"

The CSAC are being dicks in my opinion....but not much different than lets say the DMV....go in to update your license and get ambushed with having to pay parking tickets or some shit.
I hope that Barnett doesn't have any problems getting licensed. If the commission strongly urges/forces him to go make anti steroid speeches to kids I think it would be ridiculous and complete bullshit.
If he tests clean 2 months before...tests clean a week before....tests clean the day of before and after the fight....that is damn well good enough for me.
