When it comes to Bruce Lee he was an individual that understood the science of real fighting. That is why he decided to invent his own style of fighting because "Wing Chun" Kung Fu was a purely striking type of fighting style. There was no method into any type of ground tactics such as grappling, ground and pound, or submissions. I really think his mentality was ahead of his time because he understood that all those flashy moves wont help you when there is a guy in a full mount beating the crap out of you. So to cut to the chase I say yes he would do rather well in the world of MMA.
