Plus it would mean some hellacious fights for us to watch, plus it would make the title contenders bust ass to put on some good fights. Having to earn it makes u work harder, just fighting a few then getting a shot cus they won some sub par fights. Doesnt really give them the crediblity to walk right into a title shot, look how long liddell had to work to get his light hw title shot. And hes been a exceptional champ, dominant and fights whoever they give him.
