its a fantasy league where you gain points on how your picks win or lose
but if theres like 50 people, there wouldn't be enough active fighters to go around
so I thought if we had different leagues, we could have different rules in each, or whatever rules they (the forum members participating) wanted
some leagues could have no negative points, or some can be really advanced and score TD's, sub attempts, etc
our own scoring system based on your level of MMA knowledge
some could be more advanced then others, and when we have draft/trade season's, you could switch to a league more to your taste.
so far its just me and two others, so we'll pick a few fighters, decide our point system, and hope our fighters do well
but think of the strategy. lets say we start today, and the next draft is Jan 1
you would need to pick a fighter that has a fight in some MMA pro org coming up by then
Jan first, you can trade, or drop fighters for a different one
there could be arrangements between people, you give me the fighter fighting saturday, you get my next draft pick, etc
all the work is done online, such as fight stats, and the lowest in points can get first pick at draft.
the game just evolves
it wasn't that I thought they would care, but at least I gave ample warning.
