Basically they were just dangling the prospect in front of the fans to creat a bit of a buzz. Also were rumours going around that it would be Daniel Puder after his and Angles little match they had. LIterally it was just a way to mess with the fans but they were indicating that it could be anyone turning up for the open challenge. |

The only people that want to believe that's what he meant are wrestling fans and they are instigating it. I'm sure Dana didn't sit around and watch WWE say "oh shit he's talking to us", it was just some wrestling fan instigating something that wasn't meant that way.
