I have a pit in my stomach after Condit accepted the rematch. Why? Because popular opinion and people with influence have made a clusterfuck of this. This rematch we are going to have is based on the UFC and Fans wanting Diaz vs Gsp so badly that the tweets and bitching by people with INFLUENCE have Manipulated peoples thinking. Let's see what happened and compare it to what really matters. I realize that it's a business and a sport but I feel the UFC haas crossed a line and has regressed with this decision.

Let's look at history.

Nick Diaz is amazing but falls short wheen really needed. His climb up the UFC ladder was fun. He destroys lawler and does well until wresters with takedowns diffuse his run. He leaves and goes to strikeforce...fights a but of great fighters with NO takedown or wrestling skills to speak of. So he goes on interview after interview saying GSP is avoiding him. So he comes back to avenge the Shields loss. We see a great display of boxing and a great jaw. So he comes back and beats up a BJ. The world is on edge to see DIAZ vs GSP. The #1 contender |(interim ww title) fight happens....WHAT DIAZ was outstruck...out pointed and couldn't get near Condit. He Lost the fight. To somebody who didn't try a single takedown to somebody whos not known for his takedowns like Gsp, Diego. How can Diaz who probably has the BEST boxing loose to Condit? I can explain...DIAZ Doesn't have the best striking in MMA. He has the best boxing. So if you fight his style...stand and bang..
his boxing is great. God forbid you get into a kickboxing match with him.

I would be the first to say do not stand in front of diaz and avoid going toe to toe with him. I would also say that NICK DIAZ would win against 99% of WWs who stand and bang with him. I Concur. But this is MMA. Not old school tank abbot highlights. We might as well bring in fishhooks, biting and hair pulling heck small joint manipulation as well...(after all..you're not in a fight until you break a few fingers). let's bust it old school roman style..to the death. We throw out the term engage in the fight. I believe Carlos enganged in this fight...just not directly in front of diaz. We got the gracies throwing opions around saying Diaz is a true warrior....He won......Rogan has gone as far as saying I change my mind Diaz won.....ceasar gracie bitching as well.

So.. a Gracie stundent lost..he bitches..the
gracies bitch because he lost..his brother in rolling papers conceides....People with influence and BIAS have pushed this where it shouldn't have went to... a rematch. Jacksons Camp beat gracie camp fighter and Gracies bitch. period.

Now that leaves the most hated Jackson camp. Who has evolved the fighter to a machine like level and gameplans that make you a winner. let's not have that....LET's go back to the dark ages and make oppenents stand in front of opponents and stand and bang..like the lebens and tank abbots.

I'm tired of this. Diaz fight Condit. have fun. the squeeky wheel definatelly got the grease here. Good job.

I guess the UFC is geared totally towards Money instead of sport. I'm too naive for this. The MMA guys are always harping on boxing and the sweet science crap...I think MMA is afraid to evolve.

bottom line:
What Carlos did in the cage that night was amazing.
What Nick Diaz did was Pathetic.
