The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale likely will take place June 1 at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer today confirmed with MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) via email that the UFC has requested the date and venue.

In addition to the reality show's tournament finale, the event features a Jake Ellenberger (27-5 MMA, 6-1 UFC) vs. Martin Kampmann (19-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) welterweight headliner.

UFC officials announced the five-round non-title fight earlier today.

The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale's main card airs on FX, and FUEL TV is expected to carry the prelims.
