I do think it would help to tweak things a bit to compensate for missed cards. Maybe at the end of the year take each persons 12 highest scoring cards, that way missing one or two doesn't kill you. |
That's an interesting idea. An idea that was mentioned before was to give a lower base number of points to regular players who miss out on events... So say the lowest average score was 10 points.. Maybe people who have missed the event get 8 - or you get to drop 5 events at the end of the year or something similar.
