I would happen to agree with you. I have felt the same way about Silva for a couple years now. I slowly went from intense adulation to indifference. Anderson has reigned over the MW division for far too long. Anderson has the size (Oversized for his division - much like GSP) and ability to make the leap to LHW but apparently he is not up to the challenge. The man is now getting old and will no doubt look to retire at MW while moulding his own legacy of utter dominance in his own division, rather than absolute domination.

Anderson Silva will undoubtedly have legendary status but he will always have his detractors due to the reasons you listed.
