Those seven fighters you mentioned would all go into a fight with Bonnar with varying degrees of favoritism (maybe not Glover due to his relatively unknown status) but with the exception of Jones and to a lesser extent Machida I believe Bonnar could hold his own and even beat the rest.
I'll pre-empt the accusation that I'm a Bonnar nuthugger and therefore my opinion is biased - that is true. On the other hand, with the exception of the bullshit TKO loss to K-Soz Bonnar has only been beaten by championship winning fighters, has often performed hurt or after long injury layoffs and has been right in every fight he's lost.
My point is that given his performances and three fight win streak (not the most impressive names but still, a streak at 205 is not to be disregarded off-hand) I believe Bonnar has earned the right to test himself against the elite fighters. Throw him a big name fighter. See how he goes. It will be entertaining regardless of the result.
Unless of course Bonnar is now all about making money before he retires, in which case fights against Griffin and Franklin make more sense.
