I think really big fights like this are always polarizing. People who wanted Sonnen to win and put all of their souls into a victory for him now feel cheated, so they look for excuses. It's a weird thing about sports, people feel emotionally attached to the outcome of events. Personally, I mostly just watch it for entertainment value. I do care a bit, like I was worried after Silva got taken down, but if he lost the fight I really wouldn't have cared that much as long as it was a good fight.
Nobody is perfect. But if he's not the best ever, then who is? Every great fighter has had some embarrassing moments. |
Thankyou. I won't even bother with Youtube today. I just remember how I felt with his comments which is the same reason I hope he grabs a hot toaster and jumps in the bath tub with it.
I promise you he was fighting a lot more than Silva and Brazillians. When I look at Sonnen I honestly see David Duke with a jockstrap and thats how I personally feel about it.
I find his presence highly offensive. I have literally written off any fighter to cosign with Sonnen this includes King Mo.
Riv knows he is on to something which is why he probalby created this thread. There is a reason why people are so polarized. Its the same reason why many people are so polarized with Obama. Take off the rose colored glasses SJ (it runs much deeper than skills and MMA)
I look at it all and see some of the same ole shit (just a diff smell).
