In a perfect world JDS would fight Cain, then fight DC... should he get my Mir... Before AO comes back, then fight him...
If AO is ready and DC has beaten Mir by the time the JDS/Cain rematch happens. The UFC will have the good problem of having 2 very solid contenders for the title... Much less at HW... That is a good sign... Also with Werdum looking good.... some good up and comers... The HW division is looking good...
If Dan wins... He will have beaten Monson, Bigfoot, Barnett, and Mir in a row... that is impressive... He is more than deserving... But will he get the shot before AO, if Alistar is good to go. You also have think about how the UFC will see it. They know that AO has better selling potential...
Why not get DC some more exposure against a HW like say Nog or Werdum... even on the same card as JDS/AO.

RD... DC wants noting to do with Jones. I always get a laugh when I see people say that Jones wouldnt be able to deal with DC's size... The guy has a good bit of fat on him, if he was cut like Jones, he would barley have any weight on him...
Jones would also have a 6 inches of height and 13.5 inches of reach on DC...
