Or fight GSP in a non title fight and give the MW division time to come up with a true number 1 contender. There are other guys that Weidman could be fighting to make his name more marketable like Rashad Evans, Vitor, Belcher, Bisping.
He needs a win over a big name so the fight between him and Silva is more marketable.
