This fight is only intriguing if GSP was the one set on challenging Anderson. The only time any fight is interesting when it comes to two fighters from separate divisions is when the SMALLER guy wants to step up to the bigger guy.
We have been talking about this for years. Unless it's actually slated, I don't believe it's going to happen. I also agree with those who feel this fight has lost a lot of it's shine.
I'd rather see Silva/Weidman but I would be cheering for GSP 110% if this fight were made. However, it would be astonishing if GSP was the first one to etch Silva's name at the top of his list of UFC victories.
