Boetsch is actually ranked, as opposed to Belcher is a more accurate way to state it. If Weidman went and beat Belcher, Anderson fanboys would immediately point out that Alan was unranked and that he should need to beat another ranked fighter while Anderson goes calls out BJ Penn or something.

Oh, please. It's not Zuffa's job to make Anderson happy. If Anderson is so worried about money that he'll let it drag his legacy into the mud, it's his ow fucking job to sell PPV's and nobody else's. Silva has nobody to blame but himself for not being a better draw; he speaks English and he's got to be smarter than that team of village idiots he calls managers and allows to speak for him.
Weidman would be a better draw than half of the fighters Anderson has happily faced.
