GSP verses Silva This is a fight the UFC wants to happen$$$$ probely each of the sponsers too, or at least keep the idea in the air. All sponsers want their fighter in the public eye to help sell their product. GSP has been out of the loop for awhile and my guess is his sponsers wanted something like this talk to put him in the lime light again.
Soares being what I think of him likes the GSP fight as a winnable fight with a great draw$$$ If he wanted his fighter to make a great legacy fighting Jones would be in the talks. |
It has already been established that 6 fights equals 6 years for Anderson. Hell he might even hold out for a fight against Michael Bisping Jr. in 2030 or a super fight against an Anderson Silva cyborg/human clone hybrid in 2042.
