I say that Jones has the best striking in the division because he tools everyone on the feet its that simple. One can hypothesize for days about whether or not his striking would be good if not for his reach advantage, but that requires the assumption that he would fight the same way with smaller arms. Imo the best striker is the one who is most successful at landing significant strikes on their opponent, but thats just my interpretation.
Yep... I will say not all tools are created equal... buts its funny how people criticism Jones for using his reach... and then bring up Dan Henderson or Shogun, who constantly get tagged, land one big shot then its over... Having a great chin and big power are weapons as well...

People are also overlooking Jones's wrestling. It has a very similar effect that GSP's does... If his opponents knew he was just going to stand with them the entire fight they would open up more and hesitate less...

Why do you think Machida and Evans were so cautious to engage Jones.... not just because of his striking and reach... but because they knew if they went in too far they could be thrown on their ass and have their face busted open.
