I think it plays out with Anderson fighting Bisping, because it makes more money. And all the Anderson fanboys who have discredited Weidman as not having done enough will find some nonsense--like Bisping has more fights than Anderson has defenses--some desperate way to convince themselves that their hero isn't a diva who has been ducking fights for years.
He's undeniably talented. He's a valid consideration for GOAT. But he's a diva who ducks legitimate fights to take the easier road whenever he can.
