I can't find the interview right now but I've heard Eddie talk in the past about not going to the UFC because Bellator had better pay with less risk. He was very sincere about it and spoke about how he wouldn't be able to look his daughters in the eye if he risked their well being for his desires.

While I would like to see him competing against UFC caliber fighters, I also wish him and his family the best.

I wonder how much UFC sponsorship money varies for a top 3 in Bellator compared to a top 10 in the UFC. That could be a big factor for Eddie.
