canada is actually super picky with people coming over if they have a record. i dont know any specific details, but i know a lot of bands i see are usually using a guest drummer or bass player cause the real members got detained at the border.
im surprised there is issue with someone from the UK coming over though. id assume common wealth countries are easier to go in and out of, but i guess daley raised some flags for one reason or another
