People are reading into this too much... JDS said "could" not "would" In a boxing ring JDS gets destroyed, but in a cage with MMA rules, gloves, etc. I wouldnt be surprised at all to see JDS do it. a couple of leg kicks and knees could easily fluster a pro boxer with no MMA expereince... even leaving them open to get knocked out with "boxing" as you would say.

It would definitely help... Jones needs a good boxing coach to teach him how to completely utilize his reach... He could become close to untouchable, even at HW, if he ever mastered his reach to that degree, and developed a sound game around it.
