I'm not sold on the argument that pro boxers would outclass all MMA fighters. MMA boxing is very different, just because a fighter fights one way in MMA doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to adapt his game to boxing. There are also a lot of fighters who weren't very technical but could brawl that have made good careers in boxing. Not to mention MMA fighters have a higher capacity for fight knowledge, as they have to incorporate all aspects of stand up and ground fighting. To think that the MMA elite wouldn't be able to develop great boxing technique seems odd. But I think we'll never know cause we haven't yet seen a great MMA fighter transition over.
