The timing, stance, defense, footwork, and even the gloves a are all completely different.
What I find more odd is that you would discount a lifetime of training and crafting of skills catered specifically to that sport.
And the kimbo comment is fucking stupid. Let him fight even a mid tier boxer and see what happens.
Athleticism will carry you a long way but it is silly to think a guy could walk into the ring with a world champ and likely all time great and not only have success but finish him by ko.
