If you're going with the logic Georges used to put Frankie at #1--it's not consistent throughout his ranking, but whatever--it wouldn't matter if he loses to Aldo or not, because Edgar is still giving up size to a highly skilled opponent.

So no, I wouldn't say he's absolutely anything, other than opinionated like the rest of us.
