I'd love it if that happened. I'd love it even more if he took it a step further and said the champion's job is to defend the belt, and that he's not looking for a fight with Bendo, he's looking for a WW challenger.
But I think what you've proposed is ambitious enough, I'd be more than satisfied with it.
