Well let's see. Stefan is two wins, possibly even one big win away from a title shot hypothetically. Kongo isn't top 10, maybe top 15 and that may be stretching it. Stefan is top 10 without a doubt. So if he's fighting a fighter who is ranked lower than he is (or higher depending on how you read it) then that is a step back. |
I wouldn't really put Struve that much farther ahead in the rankings I certainly wouldn't consider a Kongo a huge step down in the rankings. Based on Struves more recent opponents since he went on this streak I would say Kongo is certainly a step up.
