I'm going to toss in my own conspiracy theory into this while equation: I believe GSP wants this fight but that GSP and his management are infinitely smarter than Silva's team. The more GSP says he doesn't want the fight and that the fight has to be at 170, the more Silva's camp will have to give up money-wise in negotiations for the fight. Move a few percentage points GSPs way and he might not be so against the fight at this point. Add a bigger chunk of the PPV/live gate and he might consider the fight at 175-177. Will also be interesting to see how many of GSPs training partners end up fighting on this card too.
