Pound for pound always has been a stupid concept. If you took 2 fighters, and tried to figure out what would happen if they were the same size it wouldn't figure anything out. I assume you would want them to meet in the middle, but no matter what class you put them into it would change what makes them great. If you put weight on a smaller fighter he gains strength, and loses speed, and the opposites are true if you take size away from a bigger fighter. If you do these things then you don't even have the same fighters you started out with. Would JDS be great, and have devastating power if he got zapped down to 155? Would Edgar be so quick if he reemed up to heavyweight? You can't change something that screws with a fighter's calling card, and then still consider them the same fighter.
