I was thinking about my post and wanted to clarify a few things so people don't take it the wrong way or so roaddawg doesn't think i'm racist.

I liked Bendo before he became the champ. I wasn't a huge fan or anything but his fights were fun to watch and he seemed like a good guy. The fights with Edgar are what got me to dislike him a bit but when I really think about it, I shouldn't feel that way. It's not his fault the fights were so close and he wasn't a judge either. I think my biggest thing with him was how he came off and spoke after both Edgar fights as if he had thoroughly dominated him and then immediately started talking about breaking Anderson's records. I don't hate the guy for that but it just took away from my neutral stance.

He's a great fighter, well rounded, very strong and athletic, puts things together very well, and fights smart. His nickname actually suits him pretty well when it comes to his fighting style. He shut Bocek, Miller, Guida, and Nate down and put a beating on them. That is what he does. He is the bigger, stronger athletic wrestler of the LW division and I think there's only very few LW's that have a chance against him and they're slim at that. I think it is going to take someone who can beat Bendo at his own game to defeat him unless there is someone with extremely devastating striking (like if Aldo finishes Edgar and moves to LW) who can manage to land a clean shot.

To cement himself as the image he is trying to reach, he's going to need to win a few more intense fights. With the way the LW division is looking right now, he could be champ for a while.

I am looking forward to seeing who the future contenders for him are.
