Why not have Goose fight Glover/Rampage winner...
Either way, it should be a while until Jones' next defense after Sonnen... Im betting he'll get another fight.
Machida is a really tough matchup for Dan... Why not milk the injury and ask to get out of that fight... and just get his title shot while he can.
Machida murks anyone at LHW, not named Shogun or Jones... Im guessing the UFC is looking to find more new contenders for Jones... Not to simply see how they stack up with the rest of the division and who is #2...
Landing 1 good punch?
Lyoto did a very good Job of avoiding Jon's attacks and keeping himself from danger, even with the reach of Jones... buts thats hardly getting it on Jones... Jon is the one who dropped him in the 2nd. |
He dropped an already wobbled Machida from the elbow on the ground.
He hit Jones more than once, but only stumbled once. Machida dismantled Gus imo.
