That was a new level of violence that I haven't seen from Jim Miller. That was a very entertaining fight, one of the bloodiest I've seen in along time! Another bonus for Lauzon!

I wasn't overly surprised that Belcher or Boetsch lost their fights but for the sake of the middleweight division I was hoping one of them would have won. Philippou made the most out of his opportunity with a stoppage over Boetsch, interesting to see his progression. He's a tough fight.

Cain was an absolute beast from the opening moments. He just went after JDS with relentless pressure. I was very impressed. I'm not a Cain fan at all, but I'm reading people argue over the adjectives of the fight. Dominated. Destroyed. Who cares? It was an extremely one sided fight. Sure JDS showed some heart, showed that he has a granite chin and showed some TDD but none of that put him in a position to be effectively offensive. He was in defense mode from the get go and the scorecards reflected that. It was Cain's night. I'm a big JDS fan but he has some big questions to answer. Hopefully this will motivate him to raise his game. I would not be surprised if we get the rubber match this time next year.
