Dana CAN absolutely do something. And its not Dana, its Marc Ratner who is hired by Dana White.
The AC comes to the UFC and says "these are our officials that we have assigned to work your event here"
UFC can actually tell the AC that they are bringing their own to work the event also. I think the UFC is allowed to control the spot of 1 judge and 1 ref at minimum.
