I think that fight showed that JDS is tough as nails, and he showed a lot of heart getting back up after all the abuse and just kept swinging. Cain put in a great performance though. He had a good game plan and he executed it perfectly. On top of that it's not like he didn't try to finish him, he really went all out.
The only think I really questioned about Cain during that fight is, why not look for a submission? It seemed like that didn't even cross his mind during the fight. I get that he's a wrestler and maybe he was more comfortable having top position, but there were several opportunities he could have taken JDS' back or set up some other kind of submission. Just something I noticed....
