I guess I'm cool with an immediate rematch as long as Cormier won't fight Cain since I think there's quite a big drop of within the division between the elite 4 or so HWs(Cain, JDS, Cormier, Werdum) & the rest of the division.

I'd personally prefer Cain/Overeem(if he gets past Bigfoot) since it would probably do great business and would be a win/win for ZUFFA in establishing a champion to go against either Cormier or JDS, and as that is going on, I'd also prefer Werdum/JDS II, since Werdum is needlessly tied up with Nog and that is a matchup I'd pay to see.

But since Werdum is tied up till at least the fall(unless Nog gets injured, which is a possibility), I really don't see anyone of relevance to match JDS up against to really prove he's the next contender except Cormier(or MAYBE Barnett), and since Daniel won't fight Cain, it'd kinda be a moot bout. At least if JDS gets the rematch and wins, Cormier can have a little more clarity on whether or not he should seriously make the cut to 205 or if it'd be worth his while to stay at HW....
