I'm not a big fan of the Rep system, but we are all living with it. What do yall think about the Mods posting the following each month or when ever?

Who gave the most Positives Reps???

Who gave the most Negative Reps???

Who recieved the most Positive Reps???

Who recieved the most Negative Reps???

Okay, and with that insight, you could probably be a Mod.

Isn't Clint a Computer Science Major??? If you put stuff into a computer can't you look at it and take it out if you want??? I think it's possible, not sure if the Mods want the extra work though.

We don't have back end server access. We only have access to the options that the forum software gives us. Lol it would probably be a bad idea to give me full server access

It would be a very simple SQL query and dump to a PHP report.

I think it would be cool but I'm not doing the work.
I'll do the work if yall will allow me to, but you have to tell me how to do it.

I'm retired, with no job, and 100% disabled, so I gots da time.

Like I said I'm pretty sure we don't have deep enough access to be able to do it.

Clint if you can upload a PHP page and you know the Database username and password you can do this.

The Database schema for PHPBB (Nuke whetever) is pretty intutive.

<?
/*includes/connect.php*/
/*--------- DATABASE CONNECTION INFO---------*/
$hostname="localhost";
$mysql_login="myusername";
$mysql_password="mypassword";
$database="mydatabase";

// connect to the database server
if (!($db = mysql_pconnect($hostname, $mysql_login , $mysql_password))){
die("Can't connect to database server.");
}else{
// select a database
if (!(mysql_select_db("$database",$db))){
die("Can't connect to database.");
}
}
?>

<?
include("includes/connect.php");
// now you are connected and can query the database
// CLINT WRITE YOUR QUERY HERE
$request = mysql_query("select field1,field2 from table");

// loop through the results with mysql_fetch_array()
while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)){
echo $row[0]." / ".$row[1]."<br>\n";
}

// don't forget to close the mysql connection
mysql_close();
?>

I don't have access to upload any webpages or to any of the sql tables. I have no server level access at all. Just the interface that the forum provides.

I know on other forums every month or two we have the lowest 5 people rep-wise (generally all negative rep) and we vote (through a poll) on who to kick out of the forum. At least they used to.

The top 5 and bottom 5 rep is easy enough since that can be grabbed through the member's list page (just sort by rep) but things like who gave/received the most is a different story.
