He's fighting Anthony Hanshaw July 14 in Biloxi. If he wins it looks like he will fight Trinidad.

If Trinidad fights Jones, Trinidad'll surely move up and fight him at a catchweight (I hear Jones can easily make 168, even though he's been a light heavyweight for the past 10 years). I don't know if even Trinidad can carry his power up to 168 that well. I suppose the advantage would go to the guy who's been fighting more often recently, Jones, but this fight is about 5 years too late.
And asides from that, is there anyone who's even gonna watch Jones/Hanshaw? On PPV, no less? On the same day as Margarito/Williams, Gatti/Gomez, and Cintron/Matthysse, which are all on regular HBO? Who in the hell schedules a PPV on a day like that? If anything, this fight should have taken place this weekend, or on a day that's not Saturday if they want some decent buys. Horrible marketing.

And he's my favorite boxer.

If Jones Tito fight at anything over 165 i think Jones will dominate. Tito has looked less then stellar in the last few years besides when he was knocking the piss out of Mayorga which i enjoyed greatly.
Even though some might think Jones is past his prime ( which he is) he is still a dangerous guy. I think at a smaller weight he might have some of his old speed back, an still have his power.
Roy tkos Tito 6th round.

Roy tkos Tito 6th round. | Good point, I was just thinking about Tito KOing all those guys. I agree, RJJ is just naturally bigger and don't think anybody could take a good shot from RJ at these weights. That would be a real money making fight, and great opportunity to pull RJJ somewhere back in the limelight.

I think even at Roy's slowing down age he is faster and hits harder then most at the weight.
If by some chance Roy could make MW, which i don't think he can, but if he could i see him being a champ.
Roy vs Taylor, Taylor loses. I don't think Taylor could knock him out an i still think Jones is fast enough to make Taylor look silly. At his age he still has more skill then most.
Just has problems at a higher weight, but lower weight i think he dominates.
Roy knocks out Tito.
