They interviewed De La Hoya on The Fight Network's "After the Bell - Hopkins vs. Wright" special that I downloaded and watched recently. He said he's going to fight at least once more and that it would be sometime next year - or that he's taking a year off. Whatever the fuck. He did mention a possible rematch with Mayweather, but didn't seem interested. He seemed interested in two particular names Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton.

My question to all of you is, if De La Hoya fights only one more time - who would you like to see him in the ring with in his final dance?

I'd like to see him and Hatton personally. Cotto would be good too though. And I did pick him to edge out a decision against Mayweather the first time, against popular opinion, but yeah I agree - I don't see him winning a rematch with Mayweather.

Both fights would be great but Cotto would be more of a challenge, and more meaningful in solidifying DLH's place in the HOF.

I don't think he can beat PBF, but he could definately outbox Cotto IMO.

you guys are all fools.....de la hoya is only gonna look for the big money fights.....ill put anything on it that he comes back and fights trinidad - which i think is utter bullshit!

* trinidad supposly is training for another fight and came out of retirement a couple of days ago

* oscar de la hoya supposly lost alot of weight and plans to move down - from hbo commentators, lol

I think it should definatly be a rematch with Tito, the first one was great, and I'm sure Oscar wants a rematch.
You call everybody "fools", but you don't offer up your opinion on who he should fight. Are you going to grace us with your flawless logic?

I'd pay to see De La Hoya vs. Tito II no matter what the price tag is. I've been wanting that rematch since the first one ended! DLH got screwed, who cares if he gave away the last round, there was 11 others! Even still, I'd rather see DLH-Cotto or Hatton.
