I definitely see Hatton's style giving Mayweather trouble. Hell, Hatton will make it a close fight against ANYONE using sheer determination and toughness. I just don't see him being able to beat Mayweather. Hatton had serious trouble with Collazo's speed and barely got away with a win even after knocking Collazo down in the first round. On Collazo's best day, Mayweather is faster.
Also, this fight being fought at welterweight is a disadvantage for Hatton. He's said himself 140 is really the best weight for him. I look for Mayweather to get on his bicycle and pick Hatton off with one-two combos from the outside. However, as I said, I don't expect this to be an easy fight for Floyd. Castillo gave PBF his toughest challenge so far by using constant pressure to get inside and rough him up, and Hatton is the best in the world at that game.

I know Mayweather coming into a fight in shape and prepared is a given. As much as I dislike the man, I do give him props for being an animal while training, showing that he has dedication to his craft. However, considering this will be the biggest fight of Hatton's life, you have to believe that he too will be coming into this fight (welterweight or not) in the best shape of his career. There's not much of a size advantage between the two, Mayweather's just a little taller and longer. However, Hatton will most definitely be the bigger, stronger man in the fight. I'll stick by my pick, I say Hatton by close decision or late, late stoppage in a close fight. If I'm wrong, so be it.
But if Hatton wins...bring on Hatton/Cotto, the best action fight possible to be made at this moment.

I see hatton winning this one. Purley on work rate. PBF thinks he only has to show up to win a fight, see what happened when Oscer put on the presure? PBF had no answers and when he fights hatton all that he is gona get is 12 rounds of presure. I can see hatton hurting PBF early on and I see body shots being a determining factor in this fight. Hatton by dec... cant wait!!

Hatton has a good chance if he works the body early. He has to apply constant pressure on PBF. PBF was not able to run like he normals does when Oscar worked the body. Hatton has to watch his open style of fighting. He will eat a lot of leather if he does not watch his defense.

PBF can and will hit him whenever he damn well pleases. Just hope Hatton can stay on his feet, because PBF will make him look like a fool at times.

He works the body hard and mixes body/head combinations in, like you're supposed to. He also moves his head and bobs and weaves when he has to, like you're supposed to. No one's saying he's gonna outbox Mayweather, but he can certainly outfight Mayweather. The way Duran outfought Leonard the first time, the way Frazier outfought Ali the first time, and the way Saddler outfought Pep on at least 2 occasions. | Exactly!!!
Thats why I hope he KO's Mayweather! He's a tough SOB...that is going to train his ASS off. HOPEFULLY catch Mayweather slipping!
